Wanda L. (Barkey) Harmon

Wanda L. (Barkey) Harmon of Louisville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5th 2018 at the age of 89. She was born March 3rd 1929 in Canton, the daughter of the late Ray A. and Mable (Evans) Barkey of Canton. She retired from the Diamond Portland Cement Company. Wanda was a member of Louisville Christian Church. She was a resident of Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center for the last month of her life.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth “Jack” Harmon.
Wanda is survived by four children, Shari Marteney of Melbourne, FL, Barbara (James) Green of Louisville, Paula (Rick) Wilson of Louisville and Kim Harmon of Canton; one sister, Glenda Moore of Canton; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center of Louisville and Mercy Hospice for the wonderful, compassionate care of their mother.
Wanda’s family would like to invite friends to join them as they Celebrate her life on Tuesday, April 17th 2018 from 5-9 pm at the Louisville Eagles. She will live on in our hearts and will be dearly missed. Arrangements are at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home of Louisville.
