Our hearts are so devastated with the passing of our son, Skyler Ashton Jobes who we lost suddenly on January 10, 2021. Skyler was born in Louisville, Ohio April 3, 2002. This was supposed to be the beginning of the most wonderful chapter. We wish we had more time. Not one more day, but a lifetime. Skyler was our family’s sweet, fun, always making people laugh kind of kid. He will always be remembered for his funny stories and jokes. He loved his bonfires, football games, fishing, hunting, basketball, family fun days, competitive backyard volleyball games and shenanigans, country music, painting up for the football games, having fun, being silly and hanging with his friends and girlfriend. He will always be remembered for his big contagious smile. He was truly loved by all and brought so much joy to many of our lives. He will be missed every day as sure as the sun rises and sets. He will always be in our hearts and in our fondest memories. He leaves a big hole in our family that will never be filled. So unexpected, so unfair and way too soon to be living with God’s angels. Heaven has gained a true angel, and we know you will be welcomed with open arms from your family members and friends that await you. We know you will always be with us. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
Skyler is preceded in death by his grandfather, Warren Edward Jobes.
Skyler is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Stacey Jobes; brothers, Riston, Waylan and Wyatt; sister, Rylynn; grandparents, Dan and Sharon Baughman and Kathy Jobes; aunts, Stephanie DeSarro, Tiffany Ann Jobes, Deanna Whitmer; many cousins and great aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 15, 2021, from 3-7 p.m. at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Those attending the services are asked to please wear a proper protective mask and practice safe distancing requirements.
