Shirley A. Bresson age 86 of Louisville, passed away August 11th, 2021, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 12th, 1934, in Maximo, Ohio to the late Russell and Magdalene (Menegay) Haidet.  Shirley was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Eagles and was a Eucharistic Minister at Mercy Hospital and St. Louis Church. She was an avid sports enthusiast following Notre Dame and Louisville sports; she loved her flowers; but the love of her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by husband, Paul “PJ”; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Shirley is survived by her children, Deborah (Kelley) McKinney, Sharon Milnes, Mark (Ann) Bresson, Michele (Jeff) Mongiardo; 10 grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Bryan, Stephanie, Allen, Rachel, Tricia, Steven, Nicole and Julie; brother, Leroy (Ann) Haidet; sister; Theresa Gecina; along with 24 great grandchildren

The family will receive visitors Sunday, August 15th, from 1-4 p.m. at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 16th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, with Fr. Robert Miller Officiating.
