Rulena Ann Esway

“Together Again”
On January 11, 2019 Rulena started her journey to heaven with her daughter, Veronica, by her side along with her grandson, Joe Dudley and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Esway; her infant daughter, Rulena Angela Woofter; her brother, Leonard Talbott, his wife Carol, and parents William and Ruby Talbott.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Woofter, Veronica Monnot, Marcia (Bob) Brion and Margaret (Mike) Canan; a son, William Woofter; her sister, Loretta (Gene) Matheny; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 nieces; and a nephew. She was also grandma to Madison Harris, the little girl next door.
Rulena had many friends in Florida where she lived, and she was an avid golfer.
Rulena’s family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 pm at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville with Fr. Robert Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
