Roy L. Milbrodt Sr. age 74, held the hand of Jesus and walked peacefully to his heavenly home on January 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his Louisville residence. He was born on May 30,1950 in Canton, Ohio. Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Roy was an unwavering patriot filled with pride, dedication, and service to our country. He honorably served in the Army as a 13B achieving rank of Spec 4. He received numerous medals including 2 Bronze Stars with Valor, Purple Heart, Air Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Overseas Ribbon, and Vietnam Campaign Medal for his exceptional contribution to our nations defense during the Vietnam War. His patriotism and legacy lives on through his son and grandsons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Marilou, his children Pauline (Tim) Tripp, Roy (Misty) Milbrodt Jr., Brian (Sandy) Jamison, Carrie Jamison, Grandchildren Dillon, Logan, Kyla (Kevin), Evan, Chase, Riley, Stephen, Great Grandchildren Kolton and Kayson.
The family plans to hold a memorial service on February 8, 2025 at 1pm at Harvest Christian Center 116 9th St. N.W. North Canton, Ohio with Pastors Charles and Debra Brown officiating.
