Paul E. Meyers Jr., of Louisville, Ohio left us on August 4
th
, 2022 at his home with his family by his side, after a two-year long battle with MDS. He was born in Canton, Ohio April 11, 1942 to Mary Ellen Meyers and Paul Meyers Sr. He graduated from Timken High School in 1960. Paul was a retiree of Sugardale Foods – Shipping Division after 30 years of service, spending his free time doing body work and restoring classic cars. He loved spending his time attending and competing in car shows and enjoying time with his friends in the Corvair Club. Paul passed his love of cars, camping and boating on to his children. They shared many trips to Norris Lake, a large variety of campgrounds, Myrtle Beach, race tracks, cruises, Florida and many lakes.
Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Laverne A. Meyers, who together raised seven children; Bradley (Betty) Meyers, Brenda (Neil) Hedrick, Darrell (Janet) Neischwitz, Shawn (Janet) Meyers, Wendy (Eric) Haines, Paula (Rob) Potter, and Michael (Holly) Meyers; 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his sisters, Shirley (Donny) Brown, Mary Lou (Donny) Stauffer, Barb (Ronny) Long; and his beloved dachshund, Lacy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sandy Meyers and baby brother at birth.
There will be a Celebration of Life open house from 1:00-4:00pm at Cherrywood Ridge, 525 W. Lincolnway , Minerva, Ohio on August 21
