Norbert N Schumacher

Norbert N. Schumacher a lifelong resident of Louisville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Norbert lived a full and active life, known for his humor and fondness for connecting with others. His journey took him from growing up on the family farm, to serving in the Korean War. He later transitioned to working as a service representative at IBM for 30 years. Norbert's life journey, spanning 95 years, was defined by his curiosity and adaptability, from the fields to the world of technology, all while sharing his humor and warmth with everyone he met. His memory will be forever cherished, and the life lessons he taught will continue to inspire his family for generations to come. 

Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. 

He is survived by his sister, sister-in-law, nineteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. 

Norbert's family will receive friends Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matthew Humerickhouse as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Norbert's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
