On Sunday March 20, 2022, Lester (Bill) Sickafoose, Jr. was called home after a long battle.
He was a lifelong Stark County resident. He was born on September 10, 1945 to Betty and Lester Sickafoose.
Lester loved the outdoors and couldn’t wait for spring each year to plant a garden. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea.
Lester was preceded in death by his wife Veronica; sister Debbie Dinger and great grandson Joshua Earl Sickafoose, Jr. He is survived by his children Jonathon, Michelle, Tammy and Michael Sickafoose and Keith Pennington all of Stark County. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lester loved his family and dog Gator more than anything. We will always miss his presence, but we don’t fear for the future because we know he is guiding us.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, 1:00 pm at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
