Husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, believer, mover, truck driver; the many hats to which John R. Floor, 54, of Louisville, Ohio wore, before passing away unexpectedly on February 16th, 2020. John was born on September 7th, 1965 to Robert and Sandra (Lechleiter) Floor in Alliance, Ohio. After graduating from Alliance High School in 1983, he went on to become a respected Vice President/truck driver for his family owned moving business, Hammond Transfer Company. After they sold the business in 2016, he found the love of driving bottle trucks to and from fracking sites for Evolution and ECM. John enjoyed camping at Paradise Lake Park, going on family vacations to the beach in Florida but mostly Sanibel Island, watching the news, and fooling around with his cars and his wife.
John is married to and survived by his wife Pamela Floor; mother, Sandra Floor; brother, Bob (Shelley) Floor; his five children, Rachel (26), Bridget (21), Brooklynn (19), Brandon (18), Angelina (10); and grandson, Oliver (5); his nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his father Robert Floor, father-in-law, his sister-in-law, his mother-in-law, his aunt, and his grandparents.
He is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who he made an impression on. He was a lover, especially to his wife, children, and cracking smiles with those jokes of his. He was always witty and charming, a trait I see in his children. We will never forget you and will always love you, you dear sweet man!
John’s family will receive friends Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home located at 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville. Services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Louisville Assembly of God, 1921 W. Main St., Louisville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with ongoing expenses.

John was a great guy who touched many people in a positive way! God Bless the entire family!
John who we named the kid in our clan is missed and will be missed the fun more fun and the mischief we got into
For the last 3 when I arrived to work if I saw his white Cadillac (MOVER5) or his pickup I knew there was somebody who had my back. Whether he informed, listened or cracked a joke I sure looked forward to working with John. Prayers for comfort and peace to Pamela and your family
Spent time with John in school was a very good and funny man enjoyed camping with him rest freind you in a better place
Thank you
I only met John once but he seemed like a genuinely sweet man, doting on his wife Pamela while she dealt with a broken foot. Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss
I can remember John from all the way back in elementary school; enjoyed hearing from him once again all these years later on Facebook. My most sincere condolences to Pamela and the entire Floor Family at this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace eternally…
Prayers sent to John and his family, John was a long time customer and his second home at the former Country Manor Restaurant in Alliance Ohio back in the eighties.
I’m sure you are fishing and riding mini bikes in heaven now John! To my best friend growing up and all the crazy times we had biking, fishing, building rubber band guns, playing kickball at night, snow shoveling for comic book money, torturing the neighbor girls, taking iron horse trail exploration trips, building that boat, and I’m sure rapidly aging our teachers in school…stories that make me laugh to this day. You definitely were one to help build the most wonderful memories, and are the one I tell the most stories about. The good ones anyways! You will be sorely missed my friend.
So sorry for your loss, thoughts & prayers to the family. I remember bowling with John on a league many years ago. He always had a smile on this face. RIP John
Johnny Floor was a very sweet and kind young man. He had a great personality and always had a smile on his face. To know Johnny was to love him ! He is in Heaven now with his Lord Jesus Christ !
John was one of my favorite drivers I worked with at Evolution. He was always so nice and respectful but mostly funny! Great guy with a great sense of humor. I will miss seeing his jokes on Facebook. Prayers to all of the Floor family that God will wrap His comforting arms around you and give you peace in this sorrowful time.
You will be missed by many John, I know my in-laws enjoyed the many years of being your neighbor at Paradise. That corner will never be the same. RIP my friend.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. John was one of the good guys. I was so happy to see him when he came in for a pair of glasses. Rest in peace my friend.
I remember John as a cute and adorable baby. His sweet mother and I were in a “card club” together. Then when he grew up, he was my mover guy always kidding me about how heavy my furniture was. He moved us to Florida in 1994. He surely was a wonderful guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this tragic time. RIP dear Johnny.
