Ingabrita Oxel

Our beloved mother passed away quickly and peacefully due to complications from COVID on November 28, 2022 with family at her side. IngaBrita Oxel was a devoted wife to Berton and mother to Annbritt Kieffer and Emilie Oxel O’Leary. She was born in 1927, in Sweden and then moved to the United States with her husband in 1960. IngaBrita was a talented and accomplished artist. She loved fashion, gardening, tennis, walking, traveling, and spending time with her family. IngaBrita was a wonderful, kind, Christian and loving woman. Her sweet smile was welcoming and made anyone who met her instantly adore her.

IngaBrita’s memory lives on in her daughter, Annbritt (Ted) Kieffer and Emilie (David) Oxel O’Leary. She cherished her four grandchildren, Linnea, Alexis, Raquel and Ava.

IngaBrita was preceded by death by her husband, Berton, father, Carl Johansson, mother, Julia and sister, Linnea.

Services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 2551 55

St, NE., Canton, Ohio on December 1, 2022 starting at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mark A. Williams officiating.  The family will receive visitors an hour prior to services with interment to follow at Warstler Cemetery.
