Harriet Kirkendall

Harriet Kirkendall, age 96, passed away on August 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 13, 1922 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late T.M. and Mabel (Mozena) McVay. Harriet was the care giver and rock for her family. She was a homebody and was happiest surrounded by the people she loved. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved to sew, crochet, read, do crossword puzzles and playing cards on her computer.

Harriet is preceded in death by her husband, Roland; siblings, Hobert McVay and Sarah Pflieger and nephew, Bobby Pflieger.

Harriet is survived by daughters, Susan (John) Vesalo and Becky (Jeff) Kline; grandchildren, Laurie Vesalo, Scott (Sarah) Vesalo, Adam Kline and Stephanie (Mike) Green; great grandchildren, Sergio Vesalo, Valen Vesalo, Parker Green and Emma Green.

Private services were held and arrangements were at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
