Gordon J. DiNarda 85, of Louisville passed away September 1st, 2023 surrounded by his family following an extended illness. He was born October 3rd, 1937 to the late Hugo and Beatrice (Casali) DiNarda. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of their children, Kay (Miller) DiNarda. Gordon is survived by his wife of 36 years of marriage, Karen (Leach) DiNarda; children, Gregory DiNarda of Louisville, Randolph (Teresa) DiNarda of Stow, Denise DiNarda of Louisville, Valerie DiNarda of North Canton and Jennifer (Jerry) Bennett of Louisville; grandchildren, Kathy (Tony) McDonald, Angela (Brian) Hickinbotham, Heather (Josh) Scott, Hollie (Chad) Stefaniak, Kerri DiNarda (Dave Shimko), Nicholas Coon, Anthony DiNarda, Vanessa (Christopher) Matney, Gina (Darren) Phipps, Kaylyn Bennett, Lauren Bennett, Zachary Bennett; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald DiNarda of Canton, Ramon (Karen) DiNarda of Minerva, Dennis DiNarda of North Canton. A 1955 graduate of Canton South High School; he was employed as a machinist at the Timken Co. and a tool and die maker at the Ford Motor Co. for thirty years. In accordance with Gordon’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at 11 am, in St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville with Rev. Thomas Cebula as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisville. The family would like to extend special thanks to the exceptional staff at Bethany Skilled Rehab for all the wonderful care and compassion as well as Crossroads Hospice.
