Gary H. Lindesmith passed away as he lived life, with quiet dignity, surrounded by his family on January 18, 2022.
Gary retired the first time from Columbia in Wooster, Ohio. Worked for the next 13 years for Energy Management Systems in Lexington, KY. His work gave him the opportunity to travel and live in may states. Retirement gave Gary the happiness of attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending the winters in Naples, Florida.
Gary will be greeted by his parents, Howard and Catherine Lindesmith; special Aunt Helen Nissan; mother and father-in-law, Janet and Everett Hays; brothers-in-law, Lloyd and Floyd Hays; and a host of friends.
Surviving is his wife, Sondra; son, Scott (Julie); daughter, Jodi (Nick) Paul; sister, Bonnie (Vernon) McDevitt; grandchildren, Brooke (George) Preston, Dylan (Alyssa) Lindesmith, Dakota (Cass Stadnik) Lindesmith, Brad, Ryan, Sean and Mark (Leah) Paul; great-granddaughter, Grace Preston; and soon to join our family, Lila Lindesmith.
We wish to thank the staff at The Inn at Whitewood in North Canton for their outstanding care of Gary. Crossroads Hospice, thank you for helping Gary.
Till we meet again, keep practicing your golf.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.
