Garry Belvin Coburn passed away June 30, 2018 at the age of 75. He was born July 25, 1942 to Artist Coburn and Velva (Richards) Coburn in Salem, WV. Garry was retired from Hercules Engines in Canton, OH. He loved classic cars and drag racing. Garry was a big fan of the WV Mountaineers and a member of the Louisville Eagles. He had a gift for telling a funny story.
Garry will be reunited with his parents, daughter Christine (Coburn) Zimmerman, brothers Joseph Coburn and Richard Coburn Sr., sister Charlene (Coburn) Nicholson, nephews Steven Coburn and Charles Coburn, and niece Stacy (Coburn) Sharp.
He is survived by his wife Gladys (Phillips) Coburn of Sebring, OH, son-in-law Charles Zimmerman Jr. of Louisville, OH, grandson Charles Zimmerman III (Ryann), two great-grandchildren of Louisville, OH, granddaughter Chelsea Zimmerman of Law Vegas, NV, step-son Steven Casey of East Canton, OH, step-daughter Stephanie Casey of Canton, OH, sister Fran (Coburn) Burwell of Murfreesboro, TN, brother Artist Coburn (Amanda) of Tampa, FL, sister in-laws Pat Coburn of Wathena, KS, Donna Coburn of Canton, OH. He will be deeply missed by many close friends, nieces and nephews.
Garry’s family would like to invite friends to join them as they celebrate his life Tuesday, July 10th 2018 from 6-8 pm, at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
