Eugene P. Hoover

Eugene P. Hoover, 83 passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born February 1, 1941 to the late Leon and Marie Hoover. He worked at Timken for 39 years and enjoyed landscaping and woodworking. 

In addition to his parents, Eugene is preceded in death by his sisters, Rita (Jim) Metzer, Catherine (Steve) Teolis, Patricia (Chris) Strain and Monica Eshelman; brothers, Richard (Charlotte) Hoover, Ronald Hoover, Laverne Hoover, and Kenneth (Katherine) Hoover; son, Donald Hoover; and daughter, Susan LeBeau. 

He leaves behind his wife of 59 1/2 years, Mary Hoover; daughters, Joyce Hoover, Diane Hoover; son, Kevin (Carolyn) Hoover; grandchildren, Adam (Taylor) LeBeau, Julie (Jon) Farrell, Sara LeBeau, Joshua LeBeau, Steven Hoover, and Alex Hoover; great-grandchildren, Lucas Long and Katherine Farrell. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo, where the family will receive friends from 8:30am until the time of service. Interment in St. Louis Cemetery in Louisville.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aultman Cancer Center.  Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.paqueletfalk.com
