Edward “Eddie” R. Summerfield age 46, passed away unexpectedly on September 14th, 2020 surrounded by family. He was employed by Bosley Drain and Septic as a septic repair specialist for 13 years and enjoyed working there. Edward was a resident of Louisville for most of his life and attended Louisville Schools. He loved his family and pets, and long rides in the country. He was an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Eric S. Summerfield; mother, Judith A. Summerfield (Norris); brother-in-law, Randy D. Burkhalter; and father, Walter B. Summerfield.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mary J. (Toalston) Summerfield of Alliance; sister, Cindy S. (Lonnie) Burkhalter of Canton; sister, Tiffany M. Summerfield of PA; step sister, Kim (Howard) Long of WV; children, Michael, Breána, Elijah, and step daughter, Orah; nephews, Eric, Brian, Davante, Josh, Erick, and Zach; nieces, Brianna, Destiny, and Tori and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at Wildwood Park in Louisville, OH on Saturday, September 26th from 11-2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made via

I am so sorry for your loss. Eddie was a great guy and my day was always brightened when I’d run into while he was out working. Despite his protests of being filthy from being “on the job”, Ed was always ready with a big bear hug and a kind word! I am saddened knowing there’ll be no more of those opportunities. Please know comforting prayers and thoughts coming your way.
