Clifford Leroy Phillips passed away September 27

, 2022. Leroy was born in Moundsville, WV. He and his family then moved to Barnesville, OH. He served his country during WWII from 1944 to 1946 in the Navy. After his service in the Navy, he moved to Canton, Ohio and started to work at Timken Inc. in 1950. He retired from Timken 36 years later in 1986.Leroy enjoyed traveling and camping and visited many places and campgrounds throughout his life.
Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis R. Phillips (Basnett), brother, William Phillips and sister Dorothy, Phillips (Long).
He is survived by his son, Daniel L. (Connie L.) Phillips; grandsons, Matthew L. Phillips and William C. (Allie) Phillips; great-grandson, Lincoln Clifford Phillips; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are being held at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville, OH October 4
