Betty Jane Haidet

October 15, 1926 — March 29, 2023

Betty Jane Haidet, age 96 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at The Inn of Belden Village. She was born October 15, 1926 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Viola Charlton. Betty was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the church’s Altar and Rosary Society and she enjoyed playing cards and quilting.

Betty was preceded in death by husband of 70 years, Wilbur; sisters, Elsie Gabel, Clara Mosby, Ruth Popa and Mary Berlin.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Hoover, Judy Perry, Sandy (Bernie) Wenger-Cooper, Theresa Donato , Joanne Haidet, Tina (Chuck) Dazey, Debbie (Mike) DeOrio; son William Haidet; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Betty’s family will receive friends Monday, April 3, 2023 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Cebula and Betty’s grandson, Rev. Fr. Matthew Hoover officiating.  Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
