
Ardis J. Rastetter, 94, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday October 10, 2022. She was born September 30, 1928 in Berlin, Ohio to Ralph V. and Mary E. Aling. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph and the Historical Society of Washington Township. She loved to bowl, sew, garden, travel, refunding and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Mom loved to bake and cook, and was always trying different recipes.
Ardis was preceded in death by husband, Glenn September 24, 2008, sister, Nadine Davis and brother, Sinclair Aling.
She is survived by children Terry, (Beverly) of Alliance, Tim (Janet Neyrinck) of Uniontown, Janice (Steve) Triner of Yellville, AR, Ted (Denise Santschi) of Holmesville, Mark (Kathy) of Paris, Ardis M. (David) Feess of Millersburg, Loraine Rastetter of Oklahoma, Stanley (Holly) of Homeworth, and Brett of Robertsville; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 16, 2022, 1:00-3:00 pm at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home, 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of service. Donations may be made to Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church, P.O. Box 219, Maximo, Ohio 44650.
Ardis you made me feel like I was part of your family. You will be truly missed.
