Alan Lee Hertel

Alan Lee Hertel, age 76, passed away November 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family following a short illness. He was born on March 22, 1942, the son of the late Orval and Jean Hertel. Alan proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially during OSU football games.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Alan is survived by his daughter, Michelle Holloway; sisters, Mary Lynn (Kent) Ferrall, Dianne (Don) Walker and Jeanne (Mike) Lynch; brother, Larry (Valerie) Hertel; ten nieces and nephews;
Twenty-one great-nieces and nephews and close cousins, Joyce (Russ) Fisher
and Janice (Alan) Chase.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 5th at 9:30 am at the Ohio Western
Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273.
